Prince Kuhio Park
A privately owned and maintained memorial for our community
Prince Kuhio Memorial Park was established on October 27, 1924 to honor the birthplace and legacy of Jonah Kūhiō Kalanianaʻole Piʻikoi. For almost a century it has been owned and maintained by the men of the Royal Order of Kamehameha I, Chapter 3, “Kaumualii.”

3) Do not make alterations or disturb any features of the park.
4) No harvesting of fruits, flowers, or fish without permission.
5) Remove all trash or waste.
6) No large groups, parties or loud music.

Student Video
This video about the features of Prince Kuhio Park was produced by students Kealaula Perry (gr. 8) and Loea Keanaaina (gr. 9) as part of the 2021-2022 Kamalo'ula Student Leadership Project. As part of their independent project component, the students researched, planned, wrote, filmed, edited, and translated the video to create a learning resource about Prince Kuhio Park. The final version was presented to their peers on July 1, 2022.
